iOS 12 sd card reader problem

I use every day the original Apple Card Reader model A1441 to transfer my photos to my devices two iPhone 7 and one iPad Air 2.

Soon after i update my devices to iOS 12 the card reader stop responding when i connect it with the iPhone, the ipad, or the macbook air. Strange thing is that i can see the card in the computer’s disk utility.

i don’t know if the question is put at the wrong place. so sorry…

any suggestion will be appreciated!

Can someone assist with certain arrangements utilizing which the card peruse won’t decline to work.
