One will want to verify their local proxy is setup to forward traffic to the company proxy. IE upstream proxy configuration.
I already using proxy from http://advanced.name, and i have the same question. How to configure internet to work with 127.0.0.1:8080? Thank you.
I followed Web-hackers handbook correctly
So I opened burp> settings checked my IP 127 prt 8080
I checked edit in burp, different IP than Burp showed not matching loop, so I changed it 127.0.0.1 loop saved.
go to firefox browser on my virtual box desktop > settings> network> put 127 IP , checked Use this for all protocols box
got the certificate > added …everything worked
until, I closed burp…
my Firefox wont work unless I uncheck the Use this for protocols box. Worse, I open Burp and its back IP 127 but in edit> back to my IP ( I’m assuming)
What did I do wrong?
